 How to find us

For our local guests
The railroad is located at the South Kitsap Regional Park in Port Orchard. From the intersections of Jackson Ave. and Lund Ave., go north on Jackson Ave. approximately 200 yards and enter the park. The KLS track is 30 yards inside park on the right. Proceed to the parking lot and cross the play field to the boarding area near the rest rooms.

For our "out of area" guests
For those arriving from outside the immediate area, it is suggested you drive either north or south on I-5 to Tacoma. Exit onto State Highway 16 and proceed West. Continue over the Narrows bridge and north about 20 miles, taking the first Port Orchard exit at Sedgewick Road (State Highway 160). Turn right and drive east to the second traffic signal at Jackson Ave. Turn left on Jackson Ave., head north through the traffic signal at Lund Ave. to the park entrance located about 200 yards north of Lund Ave.. Turn left and the KLS track is 30 yards inside park on the right. Proceed to the parking lot and cross the play field to the boarding area near the rest rooms.

Alternate methods would be to cross the Puget Sound via either Kingston, Winslow, or Bremerton ferry routes. Coming south State Highway 3, the highway will split at Gorst. Continue south towards Tacoma on State Highway 16, and proceed to the next Port Orchard exit at Tremont/Old Clifton Road. Follow Tremont Ave. going east under the freeway. Continue until reaching the fifth traffic signal at Jackson Ave. Turn left on Jackson Ave. and head north to the park entrance about 200 yards North of Lund. Turn left and the KLS track is 30 yards inside the park on the right. Proceed to the parking lot and cross the play field to the boarding area near the rest rooms.

If you desire the Southworth ferry route turn left onto Sedgewick Road (State Highway 160) just after exiting the ferry dock. Drive west approximately 6 miles to the first traffic signal at Jackson Ave. Turn right on Jackson Ave. and head north past the traffic signal at Lund Ave.. The park entrance is about 200 yards north of Lund. Turn left into park and the KLS track is 30 yards inside the park on the right. Proceed to the parking lot and cross the play field to the boarding area near the rest rooms.
